1 Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs (now available in a dairy-free option)
6 to 8 slices of smoked salmon
1 red onion
1 cup of white vinegar
½ cup of water
1 teaspoon of sugar
Pinch of salt
A few sprigs of chives
Form small balls of Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs and refrigerate them.
Cut cucumber slices about ½ inch thick.
Use a spoon to remove cucumber seeds.
Thinly slice red onion.
Bring white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt to a boil for a few minutes, until sugar dissolves.
Pour mixture over onions and let marinate. For best results, marinate onions for 24 hours.
Wrap each Boursin® ball with a slice of smoked salmon.
Place Boursin® balls on cucumber slices.
Garnish bites with chives and marinated onions.
Arrange bites on a serving platter and savour them with your guests!
